Plans to cut £200m in public services funding over two years are open for consultation

4 November 2018

Plans by Tory dominated Surrey County Council to cut £200m in essential public services are open for consultation. Make sure you have your say! The proposal is to cut community recycling centres, children's centres, concessionary travel, libraries and special educational needs and disabilities services. You might think that with all the council tax we pay and the essential nature of these services we shouldn't even be having to answer a consultation about this. But the Tories are targeting the most vulnerable and our environment with their plans and Greens need to get stuck in and fight back. The consultations are all separate, open till January 4th and can be found here.

We aim to publish a guide to the consultations here as soon as possible.
