Time to Act 2015Climate March next Saturday

This is a crucial year in the fight against climate change.

In the UK, we are are electing a new Government who will decide the direction of our country for the next five years and beyond. And later this year, world leaders will meet to agree a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, after more than 20 years of UN negotiations.

We know what needs to be done; the solutions are here now.  Climate must be at the top of every politician’s agenda. Join us on March 7 at the Time to Act March to bring a message of urgency which cannot be ignored.

Many local Greens will be marching with the No New Runways bloc: if you’d like to join us, meet up in the north east section of Lincoln's Inn Fields, by 12.30pm.

Debate on the EU

Last week, Mole Valley Green Party held a public meeting to debate the UK’s membership of the EU. An expert panel, including Green MEP Keith Taylor, discussed a range of issues – and all agreed that continued EU membership was vital to secure environmental improvements and safeguard workers’ rights.
